Creating safe pathways by patching sidewalk paving stones
According to the Department of Communications and International Affairs of the Municipality of the metropolis of Arak, in line with improving the quality of streets and beautifying sidewalks, patching operations were carried out on the sidewalk paving stones of Martyrs Square and Imam Khomeini Street (RA).

Organizing the vacant lot located in Golestan Bazaar
According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of Arak Metropolitan Municipality, in line with improving urban safety and responding to citizens’ demands, the hazard removal and gravel spreading operation on the vacant lot located in Golestan Bazaar was carried out. This measure was taken to prevent possible incidents, organize the condition of the said lot, and increase the safety of pedestrians and bazaar shopkeepers. In this operation, after initial cleanup, the ground surface was completely gravel spread and leveled to prevent the accumulation of surface water and the creation of possible hazards.

Acquisition and demolition of a dilapidated building on Al-Hadi Street in Arak to improve urban safety
According to the Department of Communications and International Affairs of the Arak Metropolitan Municipality, as part of the implementation of urban development projects and the organization of city streets, the acquisition operation and then the demolition of the building located on Al-Hadi Street, at the beginning of Golestan 2, were carried out under the supervision of the executive and technical staff of the Arak Municipality. This operation was carried out with the aim of ensuring the safety of citizens, removing the danger posed by the dilapidated building, and preparing the route for the implementation of future development projects and improving urban traffic, while observing safety regulations, technical considerations, and in coordination with the relevant units. The implementation of these measures will continue with determination in order to improve urban quality of life and increase the safety of streets.

Continued improvement and organization of urban streets in various districts of Arak
According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of the Arak Metropolitan Municipality, in line with improving the quality of urban streets and enhancing transportation infrastructure, a series of civil works were carried out across the city. In this regard, paving operations were performed on the sidewalk of Bahar Do Alley in Hashemi-Nejad Street with the aim of increasing pedestrian safety. Also, widening work on the drainage curb in Shariati Street was carried out to address surface water problems and improve runoff drainage. In continuation of these measures, gravel spreading at the electricity department trench located on Shahid Shiroudi Street, Baharan Alley, and the area under the Industrial City bridge was also carried out with the aim of organizing the route and facilitating the movement of citizens.

A significant step in improving traffic flow on Shariati Street through the acquisition of a commercial unit
According to the Communications and International Affairs Department of the Arak Metropolitan Municipality, as part of the continued implementation of urban development projects and with the aim of improving traffic flow, clearing roads, widening the street, and enhancing traffic safety, a shop on Shariati Street before the gas station was acquired and demolished. This action is considered an important step toward facilitating traffic and improving citizens' safety.
