Sidewalk curbs in Kooye Fatemieh are being renovated and pedestrian safety is being improved
According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of Arak Metropolitan Municipality, curb installation and curb repairs on Etrat Street and Sedaghat alleys were carried out with the aim of improving the drainage of surface water and enhancing pedestrian safety. On the other hand, the curbs along the entrance square of Kooye Fatemieh were also completely replaced, which had a significant impact on beautifying this square. It is worth noting that since the beginning of the current year until today, about 700 meters of new curb installation has been carried out in Kooye Fatemieh.

Continuation of the urban infrastructure modernization and improvement process
According to the Communications and International Affairs Department of Arak Metropolitan Municipality, in order to improve citizens' traffic flow and make urban streets more suitable, the squares and main entrances of Koye Sanati were completely covered with asphalt. In this regard, the overall asphalt resurfacing operation was carried out in the squares of Banafshé 1, 2, and 3, as well as the squares of Atlasi 1, 2, and 3 in Koye Sanati. In this project, about 270 tons of asphalt were distributed, and the main entrances of Koye Sanati from the direction of Ayatollah Araki Boulevard were completely asphalted.

Improvement and widening plan for the curbs of University Street to address waterlogging
According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of Arak Metropolitan Municipality, accessibility improvements and new curb installation are underway at the end of University Street and along the edge of Anjafi Boulevard. In this project, 820 meters of new curb installation will be carried out in the University Street area (between Azad University and Khansari Hospital) and Anjafi Boulevard. Based on the planned schedule, 600 meters of the roadside curbs on University Street will be replaced and 220 meters of the curbs on Anjafi Boulevard will be widened. This operation is being carried out with the aim of improving and resolving the infrastructural problems of the streets and based on the needs assessment of the infrastructure experts of District 1 Municipality. In recent years, waterlogging at the end of University Street had been one of the challenges in this area, and the implementation of the new project, with widened curbs and improved stormwater drainage routes, has been placed on the agenda as a preventive measure.

Dynamism in urban service delivery; from improving street quality to increasing urban resilience against seasonal rainfall
According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of the Arak Metropolitan Municipality, in line with the improvement and proper upgrading of the city's secondary streets, curbstone installation and asphalt paving were carried out on the streets of the Golzarha neighborhood located on Quds Boulevard. In order to control runoff and prevent waterlogging, about 400 meters of new curbstone were installed in the Golzar alleys so that, through this, the process of surface water drainage as well as the movement of citizens would be facilitated. Following these measures, about 50 tons of asphalt were distributed along the edges of these curbstones so that a standard slope would be created in these secondary alleys and maximum citizen satisfaction would be achieved.

The Echo of the "Arak Bell" at Sama Girls' School; A Narrative of the City's Notables and Culture
According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of Arak Metropolitan Municipality, on the occasion of Arak Day and simultaneously with the start of Arak Cultural Week, the "Arak Bell" was rung at Sama Girls' School on Qiyam Street, in the presence of Shali-Beg, the head of District 1 of Arak Municipality. In this ceremony, while commemorating Arak Day, part of the city's notables, historical background, and cultural features were recounted to the students so that the younger generation may become more familiar than ever with the identity and valuable heritage of their homeland.
