According to the report of the Communications and International Affairs Department of the Arak Metropolis Municipality, a meeting was held to review the progress of the branding plan for the city of Arak with the presence of representatives from the consulting engineering company for identity communication development, the Deputy for Planning and Human Capital Development, and the head of the Investment Organization and Public Participation of the Arak Municipality. In this meeting, the progress of the project, future path, and requirements for developing urban identity strategy and preparing the official emblem of the city were evaluated. During the meeting, a complete report on the stages of the project's execution, initial findings, and the framework for developing the city's communicative identity was presented. The branding plan aims to create a unified identity, enhance the mental image of Arak, develop communication strategies, and design the official emblem of the city. Furthermore, topics such as the necessity of utilizing a scientific approach in urban branding, attention to the cultural, historical, economic, and social dimensions of Arak, and the role of human capital and stakeholder participation in shaping urban identity were discussed. It was also emphasized to hold participatory programs and specialized meetings in the continuation of the project. Representatives of the consulting engineering company also stated that by explaining the process of analyzing the existing identity of the city, identifying differentiation indicators, and designing initial options for the city's emblem, the proposed samples will be presented for final review after completing studies and receiving expert opinions. According to the public relations announcement, the branding plan for the city of Arak is being implemented with the aim of strengthening the visual and mental identity of the city, increasing investment attractions, and creating communication coherence among urban agencies. In the next stages, specialized supplementary meetings, preparation of visual identity drafts, holding consultative meetings, and completing the urban brand strategy document will be pursued, and periodic project reports will be regularly presented to urban management.
